2. Accessing this website
When you access this website, the browser used on your device automatically sends information to the server of this website. This information is temporarily stored in log files. The following information may be collected:
- IP address of the requesting device,
- Date and time of access,
- Name and URL of the retrieved file,
- Referrer URL,
- Browser type and version and, if applicable, the operating system of your device.
The data is processed for the purposes of ensuring a smooth connection setup, system security and stability, and for administrative purposes (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR – legitimate interest). The data is not merged with other data sources.
3. Contact by email
If you contact me by email, the data you provide (in particular your email address, name and the content of your message) will be processed in order to handle your request (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, where the communication relates to the performance or initiation of a contract; otherwise Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).
The data will be deleted when it is no longer required for the purpose of communication, unless statutory retention obligations require longer storage.
4. Contact form (Formspree)
This website uses a contact form provided by the service “Formspree” (Formspree Inc., 303 Sacramento Street, 3rd Floor, San Francisco, CA 94111, USA). When you submit the contact form, the data you enter (name, email address, company, topic and message) as well as technical metadata (IP address, time stamp, browser information) are transmitted to Formspree and processed to deliver your request to me by email. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (handling your request / contract initiation) and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in an efficient and secure communication channel).

Data transmitted via the contact form is used solely for processing your request and will be deleted once processing is complete, unless legal retention obligations require longer storage.
5. Cookies and tracking
Currently, I do not use any tracking or analytics tools on this website that go beyond technically necessary functions. Should cookies or comparable technologies be used in the future, I will provide corresponding information here and obtain your consent where required.
6. Legal bases for processing
Unless otherwise stated in this privacy policy, your personal data is processed on the following legal bases:
- Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR – performance of a contract or steps prior to entering into a contract,
- Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR – legitimate interests (e.g. operation and security of the website),
- Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR – based on your consent, where obtained.
7. Storage period
Personal data is deleted as soon as the purpose of processing no longer applies and no statutory retention obligations (e.g. under commercial or tax law) require longer storage. As a rule, communication data is deleted at the latest 6 years after the end of the calendar year in which the communication was completed.
8. Data sharing
Personal data is only transferred to third parties if this is necessary for the performance of a contract, if there is a legal obligation, if you have given your consent or if there is a legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
Service providers who process data on my behalf (e.g. hosting providers) act as processors in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR and are bound by contractual instructions.

This privacy policy is currently valid and was last updated in February 2026. Due to further development of this website or changed legal requirements, it may become necessary to amend this privacy policy.
